Low calorie craft beer
With the warmer weather approaching, many people are heading outdoors and exercising more frequently. For those health-conscious craft beer consumers that still want to enjoy an ice-cold beer without all the calories and carbohydrates, there are several different options made by small and independent brewers. Although there are many great low calorie craft brew options out there, for this particular blog, BOB™ decided to focus on one low-calorie brew.
Empyrean Brewing Company | SunSlinger XPA
With only 110 calories and four grams of carbs, Empyrean Brewing Company’s SunSlinger XPA is the perfect light craft beer without the risk of skimping on flavor. Unlike Empyrean’s other core beers, this one is light, but it has a slightly hoppy flavor profile with its wheat-centered base and warm, dry-hop aromas.
A wheat-centered pale ale, generously dry-hopped for effect, this brew is pale and crisp with lemon citrus highlights. This beer pairs well with grilled fish, creamy pastas or hearty salads. It is brewed with Crystal and Triple Pearl Hops and Pale 2-Row and Wheat Malts. This brew is available year-round, and it’s packaged in the beautiful Heritage glass beer bottle, available for purchase from BOB.
Cheers to low calories

Cheers!
